Return to Training......
We're returning to training from Tuesday 23rd June - it will be a modified form of training as we have to be in smaller groups with 1 Coach or Coaching Assistant and a group of up to 5 athletes and all at social distancing guidelines. This means that we have had to create a plan on how we'd deliver training and keep the groups apart. Our initial plan has been approved by Framwellgate School and we'll run sessions on a weekly basis from Tuesday 23rd June.
Our plan is to see how the weekly sessions work and we can then modify our plan to either include more or different groups, depending on coach/coaching assistant availability. We also plan to bring Thursday sessions back too and we'll keep everyone informed of any changes.
We're also very excited that our new jumps pit has been completed and a huge thank you to Durham City Area Action Partnership, the 3 County Councillors for Framwellgate Moor and Framwellgate School who have all contributed, along with the club to fund this great new asset, both for us and the School.
We have produced a document that explains how the sessions will work and we also have the latest guidance document from England Athletics for parents information.
The most important things to remember are that the sessions need to be pre-booked as we don't want you to turn up and not be able to train, plus the toilets in the school will be closed - we can't emphasise that one enough !
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to training and if you've got any questions then please ask.
